Happy New Year! 2022 was a wild ride as Nathan and I moved back to Birmingham and took over Dr. Friday’s practice. Thank you so much for your support as we began this new adventure and exciting chapter in our lives. Getting to know each of you has been a true joy over the past year and the highlight of our transition. Our two-year-old son, Anderson, is loving all the time with family and friends here in Birmingham. And if you haven’t been in recently, you may not know that we are expecting a baby girl in February. We are so thankful to the Lord for this wonderful gift!
At White Oak Family Dentistry, we like to say that we are “relationship-driven.” We strongly value the relationships with our patients and team, and this frames all other aspects of our business. With this in mind, we would like to update you on a couple of improvements we are making within the office this next year to better serve you.
Most importantly, we have researched ways to keep dental care financially flexible and affordable to you. We are now offering CareCredit and iCreditWorks as payment plan options. If you are needing extensive work done and would like to see if you qualify for those plans, we are happy to answer any questions you may have and provide you with additional information as needed.
We are also in the process of implementing an in-house dental plan program. Soon we can provide discount and benefit options directly to our patients without waiting periods, deductibles, and exclusions that are common with typical insurance plans. If you are interested in learning more about this, we would love to hear from you. We hope to have this implemented by late spring.
Lastly, we want to provide as much care for you in our office as possible, so we want to inform you of the additional services that we provide that you may not be aware of. We are passionate about pediatric dentistry, and we love to see children as early as their first dental visit. This is usually by age 1 or within 6 months of the first tooth erupting. We offer root canals, extractions and bone grafts, clear aligner ortho treatment, and facial injectables, such as Botox and dermal fillers. We also have several conservative cosmetic procedures for white spots and discolorations that can often be done without drilling or shots!
