Dr. Mechay grew up in Clay, AL and attended The University Montevallo where she earned a Bachelor of Science. She worked for a year as a dental assistant with Dr. Keith Calvert, then she attended UAB School of Dentistry for her professional training. Mechay loves dancing, singing, spending time outdoors, and being a mom to her two children, Anderson and Heidi.
